Another Grasshopper I don't know the name of. Truth be told, I don't know the name of many Grasshoppers at all, lol.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

i don't know his name either but he's interesting any great shot**********************
Great shot, very clear. I don't think I've seen any with this sort of broken colouration.
Excellent macro!
Wonderful macro..
a nice green grasshopper! Wonderful photo!!
Great clarity for a non-tripod shot.
Excellent clarity and detail Lee, right down to the little spikey feet. Superb macro. Bravo!!!!! Have received my calendar, some more fantastic images on that. Thanks.
Excellent capture. I like the colors and little details through out. Bunny
Nice shot :) I had a lot of grasshoppers... ew ... lol.
awesome macro work... lighting color is wonderful.. your fill in flash seems to be doing a great job...
Truth be told, I don't know the names of many grasshoppers, either...I've taken to calling them either, Fred or Ethel, which doesn't really accomplish anything but get me weird looks. Anyway, this is a gorgeous image! I love the lighting, the definition, the crisp details. Fantastic stuff, and yeah, when things are a bit more settled for me, I'll be getting a calendar too!
I like especially their eyes. - Great macro, Lee.
Man you get some cool looking hoppers out there. Most of them here in Cal are all desert colored (browns/tans,pale). Very nice shot of a nicely colored GH.
