Just a close-up of an old apple.
Perhaps it is time to toss this one and get a new one?

… I looked at myself a part of your photos - super! So marvelous photo!!!!
Wrinkles are beautiful, but at same time it is not a palatable looking fruit. A very interesting subject and fantastic photo!
Awesome.....
Cool textures..
Superb!
really wonderful macro capture !~when i was in grade school we would make apple head dolls out of old dried up apples that would look like old women! with wrinkles this reminded me of that!!
Here is a really superb macro. Bravo.
very colorful
When I make baked apples, they come out looking like this so this is a delicious shot to me! And like Kimariehere, I have made some wonderful folk dolls with dried apple heads. :-)
Hmmmmm, how similar to the convolutions of the brain. The side-lighting really brings out the ridges and folds in this remarkable photo, Kort! Kind of looks like molten caramel candy also.
A superb macro of these wrinkles. A bit like what I see in the mornings in the mirror!!
DO YA Think..hehe:):):)
I think I'd toss it once you've exhausted all the photographic possibilities... :) Great capture!
Awesome!!
great shot...
I would have never guessed it was an apple, lol. Interesting. Aloha
awesome texture, well done!!
Wonderful texture! Throw it out for the birds to pick on, and the bees?
wonderful texture and shot!
Awesome! I think I have a few of those in my frig! :{
Yum, looks better than the fruit they sell in the super market here !...only kidding. I reckon baked apple with a bit of custard and ice-cream would top this wrinkly fella off nicely ! Tasty capture & ~Cheers~
