Description
My only relationship with flies has been with a flyswatter. But after seeing the many talented macros here,
I had to give this a try just once. Zoom in for details. Thank you very kindly for your views and comments.

I am not a fan of flies, but they look very cool, you made a cool shot from the most popular fly we have, but then they are not landing on a banana!!!!
Another masterpiece!!
Beautiful macro, wow!!!
Looks almost metalic, doesn't he or she as the case may be :-) Excellent detail and color. Can't say I like flies but this is a superb macro. Another thing for me to try my hand at. I'm in an area where there are a lot of ticks and chiggars...I wonder...no, I'm not going to try them today. Bill

WOW! What a great macro and this fly is really beautiful. You did a marvellous shot here.
Excellent macro. Didn't know they had such nice coloring.
Very fine details - thanks for sharing, especially in this high resolution!
What an amazing macro. We can certainly see every hair on this nasty little critter. And the eyes fascinate me. Great macro!!
Outstanding! Over-the-top macro of this fly. What a wonderful capture with such great details and color.
Not my favorite subjects Maria. It is a mavelous capture. Hugs. Di. xx
Brilliant and impressive macrophoto Maria, have amazing details......!!!!
Pretties fly I've ever seen LOL you sure have a talent for that..
Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool shot, these things will eat anything, but at least this is something that isn't repulsive..lol. Nice job!
Great macro. Excellent sharpness.
I tend to swat them in the house but if they stay outside I don't hurt them intentionally, I may catch a few whilst driving a bit fast but the rest I leave alone. I do sometimes borrow them for a while to take their pictures but then they are released back outside. To say you don't like them you have done a sterling job with this one Maria, quite an outstanding macro I would say. Superb clarity and detail a wonderful metalic sheene to it, I have been trying to catch one of these green bottles today, I finished up with a tiny midge instead. Spectacular macro! Bravo!!!!!
Such a great macro!
fantastic close up !!!
Awesome Macro! I'm not sure I'd continue eating the Banana Parfait! :{
Glorious macro Maria... Wow! I truly dislike flies but this image will easily change my mind. :)
