Description
This angler has just caught a Striped Bass.
The fisherman must measure his catch. If it is 28 inches or more in length, he gets to keep the fish. Anything smaller is "off the hook" to swim another day.
This picture goes with my last posting, "Fishermen". A quick cross-check and you will see this fisherman on the extreme left of the photo just moments before he caught this Striped Bass.
Hope you've enjoyed this little fishing expedition with me.

Interesting story about fishing !! Wonderful shot !!
Lovely catch, why does the water look so cold!
Wonderful capture Bill, put it on the barbie LOL, looks a big one, excellent well done..
Have to be careful you don't impale yourself on the dorsal spikes!
Nice capture, hope he didn't leave his tape measure in the car.
Wow! I'll go fishing with you anytime, any place! These 2 shots are terrific - the lighting is right, the water is crisp, and you've really captured some action!
Great shot. Like it - shows it 'as it is!'Really clear shots, Well done, my friend, Rob
Oh! You did very nice pic! 5
Great shot with such clarity, I just love a good sea bass for dinner :)
I know that striped bass anywhere! What a great catch! But a 28 inch limit? Wow. Ours is an 18 inch limit and that's hard enough to get. Fabulous shot and most exciting for me to see!
Wonderful catch. Good timing on getting it as he is working with the hook.
i think its sometimes better to throw back and just enjoy the sport :o)..another cracking shot bill mick
Ah there he goes...lol.. won my bet...lol.. and another fine shot!
Great catch, Bill, pun intended. :) Really clear details and good color!
Excellent.................
Oh! I'm all for catch and release, but if the stripped bass is of legal size, take it home. It is one of the best fish you'll ever taste. I'm drooling just thinking of it, LOL.
