Description
Capt. Joshua Phifer, F-15 tactical demonstration pilot, rendering hand salute to the crews of the six Thunderbird F-16s as he taxis by enroute to the active runway.
Notice the circular symbol on the side, with the motto, "Let's Roll"? This is a 9-11 tribute to the civilians that banded together on United Flight 93 to fight the terrorists over the skies of Pennsylvania endiing in a fatal crash but saving countless others elsewhere.
Thought of cropping this to the cockpit only but detail of the other crewman on the ground tells more of the story.
This is the same pilot and F-15 flying in my other posts, "Afterburners On", "Here We Come" and "Uptight".
I always like to see the men and women behind the machines, don't you?
Thanks for looking. Bill
