Description
I have not been in bars in years. I went to some a few years ago not to drink but just to see if they change. i saw they did not. cops was there breaking up a fight. some guy feel up a woman and her boy friend was mad so the man who did that got in a fight with the boyfriend. I Say " nothing change at all. i remember the same things going on when I went to these places. One reason I left it not worth it. I did crazy things too.
I wonder how many people get killed or hurt at these places? I know the closed them down in the 1920's but people still drink and people die. See the movies of the roaring 20's and the mob. But i think it world wide and all thought out history things like this happen
Here i trying to show violence and the music there make you cry most the time for it sad words to the songs most the time.
anyway this came out of sitting in the dark, listening to the battery radio for the lights is out . Got candles and flashlights. Wish to take photos so I get this guitar my son have and my .357mag gun. and I started shooting I first just had the .357 out on the table and two candles then I added a flashlight and then I saw the guitar and set them all on the glass table. took may shots and this one i LIKED THE BEST. i KEEP ON MOVEING THISGS AROUND TO GET TO THIS IMAGE. i WAS HAPPY WHEN i SAW THE IMAGE.
tHERE IS NO BULLITS IN THE .357 SO i WOULD NOT SHOT MYSELF. i WISH I THOUGHT OF CUCKing the .357 but did not . oh well can not think of every thing.
hate cap lock lol sorry but there too much to redo now.

BEAUTIFUL CAPTURE & COMPOSITION :)
Excellent coposition, good job the 357 was not around after the guy groped the girl, could have been an interesting red hue to everything lol...Nice one Jock.
a very beautiful, marvelous photo!!!!
Striking documetary Jock!
I love the warm, amber tones in this photo. :D Very effective composition as well... The reflections on the glass table came out beautifully! I appreciate also what you wrote. I never did like bars; something about them creeps me out.
Superb imagination, Jock!!!
Awesome Jocko, the composition is fantastic, I'm glad you like it cause I love it, the shadow of the magnum on the guitar is a master touch. It's surprising that something so cold as this gun gives of so much warmth in this image. This really is top notch photography, the shadows and reflections play a big part here, the use of candles and the flashlight superb. This has to be up there in your top ten to date. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Superb shot, Jock. Fantastically ominous use of the shadow play.
This is awesome, Jock. It is so well composed and lit. The image tells a story even it you didn't see the title or your narrative. I agree this is one of your best.
when I was free and single we gals never went out alone we had a bunch of us always together we loved to dance we met the same people (guys)every friday a nice place a ladies place we called it .we watched out for once another we put down rules always made sure everyone went for breakfast after closing if someone left early we would call to make sure they were home safe. Today hmm??I question the safety, so very different for our young folks they are not careful::By the way (smile)))this is so lovely great photo: bet you thought I never get to it huh ??gab gab ""
Excellent play of light and shadow! Bravo! :)
Great pic and fascinating words! I'm tee total for the last 44 years!
Fantastic details and light. Excellent shot!
Awesome shot! I love the lighting and how it gives everything a golden color.
awesome shot in make shift lighting! caplock sucks thought of removing the key. or hotmelt gluing it where it is.
A pistol has only one purpose. It can't really be brandished to show resolve or pointed to make certain the time. I have always felt that "to bear" means to "bring to bear" not "to carry." "Abridged" is a book kind of thing. Set to music it sounds like...?
well done! great shot! wonderful commentary
Cool lighting and composition! Good use of the time, I'd say.
