Description
When an artist applied too much nudity to a cover..... umm, when an artist left too much uncovered on his model, the art director might order a cover-up. It's an old tradition, going back to the Sistine Chapel (take a GOOD look at the figure of God as he gives life to Adam).
While the naked lady on the first reprint of CONQUERING VENUS helped sell out her print run, the art director decided to modify her in order to catch buyers who might have been too nervous to bring home that brazen lovely.
In real life, this would have meant a new layer of paint. In my case, it meant an hour with Photoshop creating an extra layer I could cut down into body-hugging ribbons.
Next up on my glacial painting schedule, two more paperbacks from the long-forgotten reprints of Arthur J. Crudworthy-- the macho-drenched "Men's Sweat" edition of BATTLEWORLD EUROPA and the change of pace fantasy MRS WYCKERSHAM'S TRIPOD.

Cool, excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks authentic, but the text needs to be treated the same way. At the moment, it doesn't look like its part of the book.
