Description
Once again the area around Tourmakeady in County Mayo, and a better view of the man made slipway for some fishing boats, the heavy rains filling one of them, showing some of the conditions to contend with.

The sea does not realy know the difference between wooden lapstrake dories and aluminum rivetted row boats. It is up to the man to determine what he can live with in the way of sea conditoons and launching zones as far as his technology goes.

This boat launch is really wonderful. Might be manmade but its a far sight more attractive than the concrete ramps around here. :-) What a gentle sight you have captured and brought into play the shorline, the expanse of water and the distant hump of the hilly mountains.
