Description
An entry in BluesDragon's Frazetta Contest at Artzone. Haven't done many serious epic fantasy type images. I've done a few making fun of them though. Drew the lady's crown freehand using KPT's Gel plugin in Photoshop. Also used Photoshop to apply the guy's leopardskin diaper from a photo of a leopard's coat.
Tentacles made using linked metaballs and are poseable

great work, shes not attacked by one but 2 monsters, I think the hero could have done wit a little more chest hair ;)
What a cliff-hanger you've created!
Excellent scene and characters!!
red chain? I'd say red rope! a springy boing is good for a breasty babe and swordy knave?
Wonderful image, poor hero has his hands full that's for sure, lol.
Classic fantasy scene, scary monster, damsel in distress and hero to the rescue! Love the posing and expression on the girl in chains, nicely done!
Excellent scene
Stunning artwork!! Superb details and mood!! Geoff
COOL WORK DAVE
Great sene and atmosphere! nasty looking beasty :o)
Very cool! I like how the tentacles grab the girl out of the fog! The expressions/poses are fantastic!
"leopardskin diaper".... roflmao Usually when you post something close to fantasy I get the feeling you're making fun of me... Nice work here, I'm really impressed with the tentacles. Good luck!
The expressions and poses are hilarious. I like how you took all the classical elements of the genre and managed to twist them just a little bit to create this really cool, funny (kind of cheesy) picture. Great job!
pretty wild dude
Cool composition and color! Well done ^_^
