I found this critter last April. He was busy in the Dewberry patch. The weather was a lot nicer then, lol. It has been bad hot and dry here for a long while. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler and an outside chance of rain. We need both.

How lovely this is! I love this composition, the juxtaposition of both old and new flowers and that gorgeous delicay in both the petals and the dust on the moth's wings! Gorgeous work!
I love this thing all covered like dotted swiss fabric in markings. One of the lovelier moths I've seen. Fabulous shot and I sure hope you get the rain you need. I've given up on rain. We surely won't get it for another 2 1/2 months.
Wonderful close-up!
What a marvellous name this chap has! It looks super against the white flowers!
...eine super-schöne Aufnahme! Wie arrangiert! ...und so ein schöner Falter!!!!
Great macro, also nicely composed.

Excellent capture Lee, the white flowers showing off the moths beautiful markings, love the symetry in the markings on each wing. I wonder where the Mournful came into the naming of it. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
