I've been up in these fire towers in the West. I did not realize the East had them too.
Isn't that a wonderful thing. Towers all busted up but who decided it was better to tie it up with guide wires than to take it down and start over. :-) Stellar shot with superb composition.
There's an interesting symmetry between the tower and the "lane ends" sign right next to it.
