Description
In response to my last image, I am breaking the chain to present something found at a car boot sale in Lesser Nether-Bottom, not far from the British Rocket Group's engine-testing site.
Yes, it's THAT book by the veritable Arthur J Crudworthy, hero of Space Science Digest.
Wonder if it's a good book?
Thanks for looking.

This will have them hiding behind the sofa.Excellent image and booking(?) effect.
Xcellent presentation! Great composition!
Brilliant work! Love the retro feel. Was this part of your inspiration? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN9z7zFtRoY
Alex - erm.... nope. I was inspired by British pulp SF novels of the 50s and early 60s.
I don't know whether to laugh or to run...LOL...guess I'll laugh since it's closer to you than me... This is fantastic and only you culd come up with this... I mean that as a compliment... your imagination is unbelievable... I love it... Very well done my friend! Now run and get the cage and the key and lock him up before he escapes...LOL.
Really very amazing, bluffing, that me reminder my youth when I read " Amazing story "
a classic, in the tradition of Kilgore Trout and Mary Sue Fanfic...;) great work.
Superbly done, this is my favorite of the series so far. Very cool cover, me likes!
LOL, fanatastic stuff mate
Brilliant! The aging on the book works so well too, it really gives it an authentic car-boot look.
Love it! It reminds me of the American low-budget publisher Curtis Books, whose art director had no qualms about using as cover art photomontages employing GI Joe astronaut dolls and any other toys he had lying around. I think you've inspired me to try a faux-Paul Lehr treatment of this cover.....
"Wonder if it's a good book?" It a Crudworthy book!! Of course it's good! Keep this up and I'll be believing that they're REAL covers :)
Lovely! Such great creativity, and a real mastery of "Classic SF"!
Is this the one that parallels "War Of The Worlds" in that the stupidity of those it absorbs eventually kill it? :D I love this monster. It's so cute!
LOL :)
great presentation....fantastic retro looking....excellent!
WOW! It is a great pulp book cover but the image can also work as movie poster! BRAVO!
Apologies for missing this - fantastic and great colour scheme.
I LOVE it....both the execution, the content and the 'FLAVOR' of the artwork...I'd love to see the 'book', let alone a 'movie', done in the 'retro-style' of the late 50's....like 'Alien Tresspass'...(IF you've not seen that film, I HIGHLY recommend it!!)...
