Description
Since I put a birdbath in my garden a couple of weeks ago, I've had several visitors including all the neighborhood cats. There's one in particular who thinks my home is his and tries to come in by rubbing himself against the windows and doors, probably in an attempt to open them. He gets very frustrated and yowls his chagrin at being left out. This, of course, greatly upsets our rabbit and gerbil who don't like the cat at all. The neighbors are also starting to complain because their dog goes into a frenzy every time he sees a cat and bird... Such excitement all for a little water! I should have done this years ago!
Characters from DAZ, the little elf/fairy outfit is from here and I'm glad I finally got to use it, but I don't see it in the store anymore. Thanks to Trouble for her sand texture. Vue program atmosphere. The plants are from my updated bush pack which will be on sale soon at Corn.
Created in Vue 6 and some post work in Camera Raw for light and saturation.
Voila. :)

Fantastic and lovely image! Splendid work!!
VERY lovely. You must keep us updated how this story foes on - faerie versus cat. Interesting. The bushes are just fantastic. I think it is the best quality I have ever seen on SolidGrowth plants, including your own packages. Just fantastic!
Very nice idea! Well done with t.
Agree with Walther on the bushes quality. Excellent!
Excellent and cute, well done...
Very nice! It seems to me the eyes of the cat are not exactly on the fairy and the cat should be nearer of her prey. Forgive me these remarks, I like so much your idea!
Beautiful image, excellent well done..

Great scene. Nice work Linda.
Très joli,... Bravo Linda!
Wonderful and playful scene Linda, just make sure she keeps her distance from the kitty ;)
A really cute scene and concept. It is amazing what a little water will do. I have bird feeders on my upper deck and the critters (birds and squirrels) put on quite a show.:o) CC
well done - watch out for stray feathers.
Beautiful detail! Fantastic picture!
Lovely scene!!!!
Excellent composition, fun story to go with it. Well done.
J'aime beaucoup ton image et spécialement les chats; techniquement, il y a toujours un problème avec leur pelage: ils sont lisses...
LOL !!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful scene, story and plants.I'll be waiting for them at C3D.
Lovely artwork!
What a wonderful scene but I hope the cat doesn't catch that little fairy! Naah! I'm sure she will fly away in time. She's just teasing that cat. :D Adorable image!
Those bushes look very lovely indeed! And a charming witty scene too :) We have a bird table and a pond in our garden which the birds drink from. Unfortunately, last week we found a pile of bone and feathers .... one was very unlucky :(
what a lovely Idea to create this scene - looks excellent in all little details - i love it
Wonderful scene and work.
