Dear friends, I took this shot one year ago in Duesseldorf, western Germany.... A very fine idea! This dog gives you the pleasure that you need, but he needs no food, don´t bark and you have to pay no tax! An ideal partnership! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for your comments for my older pics!

What a great idea Wolfgang, I love your reasoning with regard to feeding and walking, none to do in this case. I wonder was this a tribute to a faithful friend, or was it done for some other reason. It looks well carved the craftsman letting you know it's a dog not a bitch and the collar is another nice touch. I must say it looks a little sad. I wonder are there any others like it nearby, other houses with carvings like this that is. A very intruging image and a great find. Superb work my friend. Bravo!!!!!
