I think it's rather good myself. It gives me a feel of someone who is sad, but has stopped caring about being sad. An odd mix of emotion and emotionless. Technically speaking I like the lighting and the b/w film grain look to it. It gives it a nice stylized look something classy. Hobbiest art should be for the artist first and the audence second. As long as you think it's good then that's all that really counts.

Oh my, I feel your pain. I have been there and done that, but you should never feel that YOUR work is crap. I have not seen a crappy picture yet from you. This is wonderful, it is a pensive look at a woman that has come to the realization that she has been betrayed and though it hurts, she now she must find the courage to get up and go on. You will find the right guy, I know you will. I think that you and my daughter have the same thing in problems right now, but my daughter has an added feature to hers....female problems and rather severe ones at that. I keep telling Tammy, my daughter, you will find the right guy, just quit trying so hard...the right guy will come along. He will for you too.

I'm glad you no longer having the loving feelings, I think for me that was the hardest thing to let go,six years later, and I'm still working on the betrayal thing. At least you realize now in your heart what wasn't, and your art works are a great medicene, an awesome way to shed the pain and emotions. Hang in there M'lady, as you can see, you have friends all over the world who care for you. You had mentioned a while back that your heart questioned this romance, hopefully in the future you'll trust it a bit more........they're seldom wrong.
