Description
I hiked the Cascade Head Trail last weekend. It was a bit early, and quite muddy. We're still waiting for spring to assert itself in this part of the world.
But I did get a few good shot. I liked this Foxglove growing next to and within a young Sitka Spruce. Although we didn't get rained on, you can see how wet it was. I don't carry a spray bottle on hikes LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Beautiful flower, amazing detail ... I love water droplets on the petals ...
This is a beautiful combination of colors. I've not seen foxglove grow in a spruce like that so this is unique to me. Great shot!
Beautiful colors to this refreshingly moist capture. Excellent. Aloha
This is stunning foxglove. The color and health is very apparent and very good. Wonderful capture and it was brilliant to shoot it at this angle with the spruce like that.

Oh what a beautiful sight for my eyes. Beautiful foxglove and spruce. I bet is smelled wonderful in this area.
I really like the different stages of the blooms with the green background. Very nice ;-)
What a beautiful combination! This is a gorgeous image, my friend. I love the way the stem of the foxglove echos the trunk of that little spruce tree. Lovely!
Beautiful flower, an excellent composition! Great work with the spray bottle, too...LOL! :)

Espectacular foto amigo!!! G.
Great combination! lovely sharp image!
Beautiful and fresh. This is the first year I don't had foxglove in my yard. And when you get spring down your way send it up here lol. Better yet make that summer.
Stupendous capture, About Spring can I say AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Snow 3 nights ago????????????????
Superb! The fresh new green of this year's growth on the spruce is a delightful counterpoint to the lovely rose/lavender of the freckled foxglove blossoms! :D
~ Wonderful , excellent work! ~ ROBY ;o)
Great capture Dennis. Something for me look at while the temperature outside is climbing. We have been very lucky this year, but the average daily high now is 104F and it is supposed to climb to 110F this weekend. I enjoy looking at the dew (or rain drops) of your flower. Thats the only water I see around here, Sig...
What a beautiful shot!
