Description
JUST IN!
A MADHOUSE MOMENT ON MARS!
Dr. doarte’s rooftop ODDATORIA OBSERVATORY has intercepted startling signals from NASA’S Phoenix … it’s dirt-digging device probing Mars’s seared surface for significant signs of cellular activity. AND THERE ARE … AND MUCH MORE! As you can see, we’ve discovered - - deep down beneath the planet’s fierce façade … LIQUID LIFE EXISTS!
At this juncture, we can’t state with certainty whether the curious creature in this subterranean setting is a MOISTURE MINER or MECHANICAL MONITOR of the Martian irrigation infrastructure.
But be assured - - when we decipher the data-streams we’re decoding - - as soon as we discern all the torrid truth, you’ll learn about it and other Martian mysteries we unearth.
REMEMBER: When you want “WHAT’S OUT OF THIS WORLD” … DOARTE DELIVERS!

Creepy story and fantastic done image!!
Amazingly cool - the detail is phenomenal and everything blends together flawlessly!
Great image. This is certainly fantastic news! As for previous thoughts about even the existence of water on Mars, I thought there wasn't a drop of evidence. Taking everything into account, I think it must be M!
What a great and beautifully funtional or disfuntional work!
by odd coincidence, I was in conversation with my engaged, Lady Constance Charming-Dahl, about this very subject..... she being under the impression that such lively occurrances on The Planet of War, were slight if not minute. I responded by saying such beliefs were a contrivance of Parliment, meant to keep us Earth-bound and rooted while those buckaroos from the colonies have all the exploring fun. Shash I say... pure shash.... and now I must extend my thanks to you, good doctor, for edification by publishing this astounding image, a visage of alien delight.... as such, my engaged, Lady Constance Charming-Dahl has seen fit to agree with me one this matter and... ahem.... a few more. For presenting a portrait of a long lost brethren to the stars... I thank you! commander, Sir Asimov Vinge Zelazney, Terran Trust and Investigations Again.. an image that gleefully surpasses and enthralls.... mightlily done... mightily done!
Not to worry. The liquid stuff was from the space station porta potty. Keep your masks on... it's nasty smelling. ;o) This is fantastic! Great background and character. Fantastic story as usual. Bunny
