Description
When I saw Poisen's skull prop with it's Sun and Moon morphs, I immediately wanted to do something along the line of Melies' A Trip to the Moon. Some time ago I was quite impressed with the Smashing Pumpkin's video for Tonight Tonight that also borrowed heavily from the movie, and in the end, I decided to postwork the render so it would give a similar feel to the one in the video: some colours heavily saturated, with others very faint, lots of grain, dust and scratches, and some fainter areas. Overall, I wanted the series to feel like a parallel universe version of the gentlemen's postcards from the Victorian and Edwardian period. I'm quite happy with how the series came out.
Figure is A3 with maelwen's Aemilia Doll, costume is Littlefox's Sugar. Hair is Belle Arum, by Surreality and me, coming *very* soon at DAZ. C4D for the hair model, Poser and Photoshop for the rest. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

aaaaaaaah tonight tonight, it's steampunk universe, this lyrical theme, and especially this DIVINE DRUM!!! woouah you putted me years back into my childhood! this picture is a good variation of this victorian imagery, but it's really clearer and finer than this movie, but i won't complan, this picture is a real pleasure for the eyes. Congrats!
