Description
A bit of a different direction from me for today's render. I was fooling around with an elongated cylinder and after applying an architectural mat to it, went to an inside view and this was the result. It reminded me of looking upward into a cathedral's dome.
I decided to go with the idea and deem it an abstract. It was rendered at full size with the Premium settings.
Hope you like it as much as I do and thanks for viewing and commenting.

Definitely looks like a cathedral ceiling Keith...it's funny how you can spend hours on an idea to see it bomb, and then just fooling around have a unique image appear with little fore-planning.The mats look good on this, also kind of reminds me of a very bizarre piano keyboard.Well done my friend!
Impressionante visão de profundidade infinita, trabalho excelente, aplausos (5)
I like it very much, Keith. Wonderful POV, lighting and mats. Beautiful render and excellent Bryce work.
Excellent work, Keith. You are very naturally gifted. This is a great themed abstract. I can hear the organ music filling that dome right now!
Wow! Is there such a thing as reverse vertigo? (ogitrev?) Great abstract image!
Excellent abstract Keith and yes a bit different in direction for you.. but I like it... As for me I see the inside works of a motor.. like an Armature traveling at a high rate of speed...also see extreme rotational force blue lines represent electrical field or discharge... gray area motor housing and black infinite space... cool stuff...well done!!! P.S. also see the cathedral dome so I guess I am only half nuts
Very nice work !!!
Wonderful work Keith, I agree with e-brink, all that's missing is you playing your pipe organ. Great abstract theme. Sometimes it's great to fool around in Bryce and this is a great example. Tony :-)
Excellent work !!!
Truly stunning image, it does give me the feel of being in church; and yes, I can almost hear the music as well~~grand, majestic and glorious!!
Excellent work!!!!!!
Fantastic work.
Excellent abstract composition, Keith!!!
Excellent work, well done...
Nice change Keith! My first thought was aventilator shaft in a space station complex. But thats the joy of these forms- like any abstract painting people see different things. Or another take would be inside a cylindrical tower on an alien world, in which case, outside would be a night planet scape? (All the black areas which would be glass.) Worth a shot? Great result from 'fooling about!'
GRANDIOSE
Fantastic work Keith! Great POV and light!
This is so great and innovative!!!
yes it is super. do look like it to me too. love the colors too
Great, something completely different but also very cool.
wow this is different for you ! its excellent as always too !
On clicking on the thumbnail of your image I thought you'd moved away from Bryce and turned to photography!...Wow, this is really creative and inspiring for everyone using Bryce. The dome-effect and perspective are magnificent. Brilliant and creative work, Keith!
Keith, this is absolutely amazing! love it!
Very nicely done, Keith!
very unique Bryce and beautiful abstract
Gorgeous abstract! This reminds me of the dome of a cathedral, but also anything from an engine turbine to something otherworldly in a way. I love the visual ambiguity of that, the way it can be whatever you see during any particular time. Great rendering work.
Excellent work and superb change of pace. Amazing work...
Killer idea. What a find! Like a hybrid between a rim and a clock.
Outstanding. Incredible how randomness plays a part, isn't it?
very well done Keith!
