Description
The year is now 2756 and this is the largest class of starship now built...the Colony Class. It is over three times the size of the type first used when going to Mars (see my previous post). It is similar to a city in size...carrying 700 crewman and 10,000 colonists. It is used to carry colonists to distant planets to begin habitation on these new worlds. The colonists are selected by a world lottery thereby ensuring a diverse and mixed civilization.
Over the past 300 years, a wormhole has developed past the planet Jupiter and is the jumping point for travel to new galaxies and new worlds.
The Colony Class spacecraft is about to enter the wormhole to be propelled light years into space.

this is really beautiful, man, the ship in the wormhole looks fantastic, and i hope you are right about its existence and location
I wish you'd elaborated more on your narrative which totally absorbed my attention after looking at your superb sci-fi scene, Keith. Besides being a first-class Brycist, you are talented for story-telling as well...I thought I was beginning a new novel by Doris Lessing, such as Shikasta, when I read your enthralling narrative. Excellent work, in every respect !
wonderful effects here
Beautifully done Keith, love the colors and detail, lighting is superb, looks wonderful full size!
This is wonderfully done, and as a writer, the narrative drew my attention...I kept wanting more. The render is top notch; you're extremely good at this! I love the colors you chose for this whole image and the sense of vast, hard vacuum is really strong here!
incredible!
Fantastic work Keith, you are certainly proving yourself in the sci-fi and modelling genre. I enjoyed reading your comments on this one and this one goes into my faves. Tony :-)
Wonderful starfield and effects
