Description
I am thinking that experimenting with fractals must bring out the psychedelic side of my brain . . . this was meant to wish you a happy May Day, but I got carried away with this and so, I'm late. I guess I'll wish you all a merry month of May instead. I promise to visit your galleries tomorrow. I've been working late tonight and need sleep. Plus these garish colors are making me dizzy. : )
Tools used: Daz Studio, Fractal Extreme, Painter, and Filter Forge
Daz: Morphia for V4, Noggins butterflies, Dungeon Lighting kit, Chocolate hair
Renderosity: Esha's Peonies

Full of joyous vitality and lovely Spring pastel shades ... perfect for the season. Jasmine [with me now] loves it! Thank you! Mike
Wonderful psychedelic, lsd trippy, surreal/fantasy fractal!! Cool!!
Wonderful image! Superb colour and composition! Groovy Man!!! ;) 5+
Wow...this is a great idea to mix fractale and 3D elements together - very nice and very good!!! I like it!!!
Beautiful composition and color.Wonderful work.
Sometimes Spring needs a kick-start and that's definitely required this year. This image reminds me of how hard it is to get going sometimes, and even nature seems unsure these days. Maybe Mother Nature is hiding in the trees, swigging absinthe... I know this is about the month of MAY, but this extract from 'The Waste Land' seems appropriate: April is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing Memory and desire, stirring Dull roots with spring rain...
This lovely...amazing job mixing Poser and fractals! (I love fractals myself but never understood them!) Really beautiful results and original concept!
Not an original idea to mix the two genres, so you know. I've seen others do that out here and a few fractal experts do it much better than me. In fact, one fractal artist here advised me to try it sometime. I wanted to see if I could weave the two images together. This pale faerie needed an original costume for her antics. I don't understand fractals yet. This is me trying new software. Lovely T.S. Eliot poem, E-brink. It suits my mood exactly as it is still not spring here and I'm ready for it! Maybe I should have called this one Flower Power. : ) Thanks all for the comments on this. It's another one that almost didn't get posted, but I started thinking I liked the retro feel.
I don´t know a thing about fractals, but I love to see images created within this genre. Anyway, I think the result is what counts, and I like the vitality and joy this image trasmits. I´d have tried _ just as an experiment_ with more vivid colors, including yellow, but that´s only a suggestion. I think this image works as it is.
Thanks, Bogart137! Funny you should mention the colors. I spent all night trying to tone them down as not to offend anyone. : ) I may upload a more colorful version (I have 100s of them) in the near future and see if anyone wants to tell me which style they prefer. I do have a habit of wanting to wash things out. I love suggestions and comments, so, please don't worry about how I will take tips and constructive advice. That's how I learn.
A nice mix of the two styles. Kind of Brian Froud-ish...too. Very good! I had a bottle of that stuff last night. I was told I had a real good time, too!
