This is not the spider image I had planned on posting today. I was going to post the 3rd pic of a 3 part series showing a small white crab spider but I found this new spider today and decided to post it instead.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Amazing, crisp macro shot!
Great macro.
beautiful photo
Super-macro!!!! Roby ;O)
I'm speechless. I chased one very similar, if not the same, in my garden this evening. I didn't get a decent shot and look at what your skill did! A superb shot!
very fine macro - i just wonder who gave it a name - or am i counting wrong?
What a shot! So glad you found this, never seen a photo of this species before.
i just cant get over how many great spiders and insects you find !!! beautiful macro work once again !!!
I'm with Koosie, I can see about eighteen spots Lee, or is it a migraine coming on. Lol. Excellent macro and another new one for me, hasn't it a large head in comparison to the body, or is it just more distinctive on this spider? It looks quite a long one the way its stretched out there. I wonder where it's name came from? Superb work Lee as always. Bravo!!!!! Hows the back, by the way? The change in the weather is affecting mine.
Great macro!
Great macro.
He looks like a little frog almost. Excellent macro shot. Bunny
Beautiful image! I love the sleek lines this critter presents; truly a predatory marvel, and incredibly beautiful! Wonderful work! Again, I'm entranced by the sense of color and clarity here!
Amazing macros you got there!!!
