I agree it is very beautiful Helle, but I don't know what that is either ;o))))
Excellent shot.
Cool textures ;O)
Somehow this looks kinda familiar, like I should know what it is, but alas, can't seem to put my finger on it exactly...why don't you ask the neighbor what it is because now I'm burning with curiosity :o) ....ok, I'm rambling...nice shot ! Have a great day n hugzzz!
Yes, Mina and is is very big... about 70- 80cm in diameter. I promise to ask him. I am so in love with it. GGG!.
I don't know what it is either, but I'd love to have one simply because it's so beautiful. I can see why you had to steal a pic. Super!
Wel you've got to find out now, becaused we all need to know! Super pic and object!
If it was stone I'd say it was part of an old quern ... a stone-age grain grinding 'machine'. If metal, I don't know - but it's certainly very interesting! Mike PS If it is stone, refer it to an archeologist, I'm sure they'd be very interested!
If it is metal, it looks like a torque converter for an automatic transmission on an automobile. Great photo!
looks like something used in the sea
Dunno either, but I see why you like it. : )
A weight of some sort for sure (I think) either in water or to teather an animal at pasture is my guess. I say the neighbor would be getting quite a deal if she trades. I love your paintings too!
Interesting object - lots of theories given above - when you find out let us all know - why would we laugh we like your paintings too?!
I don't know what it is either but now you have me very curious, if you find out please let me know....I got a kick out of you saying you sneaked into your neighbors garden...should we call you sneaky snake now? LOL....This image would make a great conversation piece, excellent shot!
excellent shot and i agree i'm very curious as what this is
Wow, this looks beautiful, great photo ;o))))))))))))))
I want to know, too! :) It's quite beautiful. I can see why you like it so much. And I'm so pleased to hear you went sneaking around to get this shot! :) Let us know if you can wrest this object away from your neighbor, and which painting you had to trade it for. She'll be getting a good deal, indeed! Your paintings are superb.
The mystery of the unknown and the quest for answers. It's Rosebud! ;) Love it...
un morceau d'une vieille altère ?? :)))) interesting shot.
Hummmm Interesting, looks like it would make a good insence burner.
Nice shot! it would be interesting to find out what it is. Maybe an alien weapon?
I can easily see why you were attracted to it! ;) I'm thinking Anchor?
Whatever it is, it looks heavy! Excellent image, I want to see more of it!
What about some kind of very old Float for a fishing Trawl. ? Just a thought. Remember I said it is about 70-80 cm in diameter
I like it very much...I am still wondering if you learned to sneak from Tara..LOL I am not laughing about the trading a painting...I think your paintings are wonderful too! Wonderful Helle!
It is beautiful the more you look at it, an excellent shot Helle nevertheless. hugs Jane xx
Sometimes very usual objects can be transformed into charming images and this is an example. Beautiful!
Not 100% sure, but it looks to be a counter weight from a crane hook?...excellent capture!
Sjov ting. Jeg ville mene det var en parasol fod.
