Fantastic photo.
I've never seen one in reality though my grand-parents are sicilian. I've seen little reproductions made for decoration. It's a very colourful tradition and you stir up some memories ! Thank you for sharing !

A beautiful photo and interesting narrative about it. Funny enough, carts are also painted in Nepal, and rickshaws too! Your Sicilian series is sunny and of a great interest for me who've never been there. Bravo, Sig !
Superb craftsmanship, such fine detail they have, the carvings on the spokes of the wheel are fantastic also, they seem to go a bit deep though, not leaving much wood for support. Excellent capture of this beautiful, colourful cart. Bravo!!!!!
