Description
Went to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival today, and I was quite disappointed. There weren't nearly as many as I expected, and the ones that there were didn't seem to be in very good shape. It has been a cold spring, so they may get better. I did get a few good shots; I especially liked these orange ones.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Beautiful close-up and colors
What a beautiful color, inside and out. I wanted to go to this festival but I didn't want to fight the traffic jam it creates so I stayed home. I'll just enjoy the tulip pictures you share with us.
Beautiful tulips!
These are very lovely. I like the composition very much. Outstanding macro.
We drove out to the tulip fields today and (nothing) except the daffodils were blooming!!! Tulips are very late this year due to much longer cold season... This is a beautiful image Dennis, be patient I think we'll get some nice weather soon!!! I hope!!!!!
Very pretty. This cold we are experiencing---global warming? :))

Excellent composition!
I love the delicate white edges on these lovely flowers! Great shot :)
A beautiful close-up Dennis!
Unfortunately unpredictable weather doesn't make for good flowers. These are lovely.
What a gorgeous color! This orange/peach shade is one of my favorites. Love the pale edges. Wonderful macro!
The Wooden Shoe ( Klompen in Dutch) Festifal sounds very dutch to me!!, despite the fact that the roots for Tulips are in Turkey, a tulip is very typical Dutch too. A beautiful Tulip capture, a flower I like very much!!. The tulip are not yet blooming in the fields, except for a few small ones, over here in Holland, but we have some sunny weather now, but still cold and night frost, but it is still early in the year!! Have a very nice evening Henk
Wonderful detail, a very pleasing shot!
Excellent capture! ...I'm afraid the weather has affected flowers all over the world .... hope they bloom out still and you can get another gaze in G .... This one is certainly a GREAT one! it's beautiful!
They are lovely.
Amazing detailed image!!
