Description
I've been playing with fire, so to speak, which I'm finding virtually impossible in Bryce, but nevertheless I have struggled on.
This is one of my first attempts and depicts a small remote village living in fear of the fire hell mountain erupting ... looks like the time to panic has arrived and even the pouring rain won't help.
The huts were modelled by myself and the terrain is courtesy of photostar. The textures for the huts and terrain are from www.cgtextures.com.
Any comments are most welcome, especially those that can help improve the fire making capabilities in Bryce as I just don't seem to be able to get the hang of it.
Enjoy ... Tony :-)

I think your first attempts at 'playing with fire,' so to speak, turned out well, Tony. One gets the feeling of an upward movement from the fire resulting in the ball of flames. You're one ahead of me as I haven't explored this as of yet.
Awesome idea and composition, Tony!!! Love the postwork, too!!!
Gorgeous results , color , composition and textures are superb , Ana
Great image and modelling!! The fire looks pretty good to me. It certainly doesn't look like you're struggling!!
Wow....gigantic fire..... Awesome!!!!
Nice fire job, Tony! I hope that's not your lighthouse still going up in the distance... That Debbie is a Hell-raiser! I like the way you've balanced the mayhem with the calm greenery on the left.
Pretty good for just starting with fire Tony. It is very difficult for some of us to work with..I get a little frustrated with it. :D
Wow, I can almost feel the heat all the way over here; for "just starting", you are red hot!!!

A great job, Tony! Fire in Bryce is one of those elusive enigmas I've yet to solve.
Excellent results! You guys who work with those 3D programs are awesome!
Great looking fire! ;)
excellently done!!!!
Colors are truly fantastic Tony, love this incredible sky and the little huts are so beautiful, splendid creation!!:-)
There is a lot of dynamic in this one - i look forward to youyr progress with fire :-)
Volumetric fire is a tough one to crack, and render times is very tedious, I think. You've done an amazing job in creating such an enormous ball of hot eye candy Tony. Muis
fantastic !
Awesome fire effects! Excellent done!

Excellent scene Tony and I am very simpatico about Bryce fire as I have found it impossible to manage with any degree of realism..you have really done a wonderful job of it here. Excellent work!

Nice result with the fire. Great color to the image, and I like how you have it framed.
