Kahlil Gibran- The Prophet This is by far my most prized painting. It is a very emotional piece for me as it was done at a very difficult time in my life. Every time I look at this painting I am reminded of that trying time and how some things that seem horrible at the time come out for the best. I realize that for each difficult moment with people you love, after it is over, you know if it is all worth it. As it is in my case, it doesnt matter if this person I love is here or there, by my side or has fallen from this earth. I know that even difficult times bring us closer together so even at the end of it all, even for all the good times, the trying times are worth it also. It teaches us that either what we have said we really mean or we don't. It teaches us what truely lays in our heart. And I felt mine deeper than even I knew it went, and there it will stay for the span of my life. Enjoy
