Description
I took this shot of the young male lion in the Thorny Bush Private Game Reserve in South Africa. We were tracking three of them from very early dawn and eventually found them next to the road enjoying an early morning nap. We were about 3-4 meters away from them. They were so lazy and it took loads of patience to wait until at least one of them opened his eyes! He is a real beauty!
Thank you for visiting my gallery. xx

I'm not a monarchist as a rule ... but with this guy I think I'd make an exception! Everything about him is totally majesterial. This is a lovely shot, and well worth your patience and courage! [and nicely framed and presented, too] Mike
