Description
Wanted to vary the view on this render by creating a long and narrow scoped image size. Also was playing around with a sandy beach look. The lightning strikes coming from the darkened, distant, stormy sky were added by hand, postwork.
Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting...

This is great. I like the rolling hills and the lightning in the distance. You did an excellent job on this piece.
Another great image. You are the master of atmospherics in Bryce.
This is a great image! I love the vague otherworldly quality that it has...partially because of its starkness, and because of the plants themselves. They look a bit jagged and like something you'd find in some remote corner of the African savanna. Great work and an excellent sense of foreboding mood.
Chip took the word right out of my mouth - foreboding --scary looking sky here, time to hunker down inside and stay dry!!
Nice scene, excellent atmosphere well done..
Fantastic image! Wonderful lighting and detail! 5+
Excellent render, Keith. The atmosphere is very realistic the way the low mist is hanging back into the mountains and the superb work on the lightning. Outstanding work and the panoramic view is perfect for the scene. (A 10 from here :) if I could.
Excellent image, I love the sand and the ominous light. Another amazing piece artwork!!!
This goes right into my faves..great image Keith! The format, terrains, lighting and poatwork show a lot of planning and thought...well done!!
super work!!!! Greeting Rocksy
Excellent work Keith, the narrow view certainly give this one added depth. Wonderful rolling hills and I like the addition of the lightning. Tony :-)
I can feel the static in the air, the approaching storm and feel the air and the sand beneath my feet. What more can I say?
it does indeed look omninous and foreboding.. not the kind of day i want to spend at the beach for sure!
Hey Keith this is a very good one again! I love the lightning strikes way out there, and the sand is very nice! also the water is very nice how it is up against your terrain! great one!
Great contrast of colors and atmosphere...really brings the effect of a storm coming... Excellent....
I prefer to think the storm is on it's way out:) Nice cloud plane work. The bolts of lightning look perfect! Again your terrain work is great and great job on the beach!:))))
Storms can be sooo pesky! Very fine render!
WOW! It´s fantastic Keith! a very nice landscape! :D

Wonderful Art my friend
Nice image, Keith. Great composition - and I like the postworked lightning in the far distance.
Hi Keith wonderful work warm hug, Linda
I got an ominous feeling of being caught in an imense storm with no shelter to hide under at all. Supreme work done on the atmospherics Keith. Muis
Beautiful image, excellent work here!
Super image Keith!! Really like the sandy beach. Great terrain work as always!! Great work!!
Superb job...
The mood of the image is so good I can almost feel the anticipation of the storm coming. The coloring is excellent!
I like the feeling of this, it reminds me of a fast moving storm moving across the Panhandle of Texas or New Mexico. The reflection on the water helps give the work life as the water laps at the sandy shore...Keep up your good works...
very much the way our weather is shaping up.there are violent thunderstorms near by but yet it is calm here with virtually no wind.very disheartening. your art however is beautiful and composed really well
wonderful !
