zum Gedenken an meinen Mann
Wem ein geliebtes stirbt, dem ist es wie ein Traum.
Die ersten Tage kommt er zu sich selber kaum.
Wie er`s ertragen soll,
kann er sich selbst nicht fragen,
Und wenn er sich besinnt,
so hat er`s schon ertragen.
Drei Jahre sind es nun, es hilft kein Klagen.
Ich frag mich oft, wie kann ich das ertragen.
Der Sinn des Lebens - wo ist er nur geblieben.
Die Tage ohne Dich sind leer - ich werd Dich immer lieben

To all who can´t understand german language: Petra made this image and poem to the 3rd anniversary of the death of her husband. Liebe Petra, da viele hier kein Deutsch verstehen habe ich kurz erklärt worum es bei Deinem Bild geht. Das Portrait ist wirklich sehr aussagekräftig geworden, und man erkennt richtig die Trauer aber auch das Entsetzen in den Augen. Ich kenne diesen Ausdruck nur zu gut von meiner Mutter, die auch mit 49 verwitwet ist.
