Description

I'm not sure why I did this one, I guess I just wanted to try something a bit different. This is actually the result of 4 different renders in Bryce, each with slightly different surface materials, which were then combined in photoshop CS2. There ought to be a story to go with this, but darned if I can come up with one. Thanks for taking a look!

Looks like this could be the start of a fantastic Aztec civilization rendering with lush greenery and all of the goodies that go with it. I like this, tho, as it is...interesting panorama and great ATMOS.

sure a story would be great, but not really necessary. The effects are great and work very well. I would have add some vegetation here...just an opinion

as the camera from the Mars lander comes on the first time here on Earth this image is shown. The people who saw this was in shock and did not wish the world to see it. But you came along and saw what they was hideing and posted the image so the whole world will see that we are not the first ones to Mars. This is super looking image

Excellent terrain work and I like the way it disappears into the mist the further back it goes. Great modelling, they sure look like huge structures. Tony :-)

I love this image and I can see at least 2 or 3 potential stories that go with it; some are a bit less overt than others! I love the colors and the perspective here and hints of something somewhat tragic as well...the pyramids themselves resemble the precursors of the ancient Egyptian pyramids, and there are even hints as to how their parent civilization created them, as I can see in the ramps. I'm guessing that you have some pyramid-building know how here! :-) In short, great work and a fantastic render that--strangely or not--goes hand in hand with your space renders as well! Fantastic work. Especially with the shifting light and somewhat hazed atmosphere. ...As for a potential story...well...lets just say that upon our discovery of the ruins, we were startled to learn that they are of Human origin though they predate the most ancient of known cultures on Earth...

What warm, embracing tones. The golden, hot colours interact well with the more mellow purple ones.

This is the kind of things I love doing when using Bryce, as you've seen lately in my gallery. You've reached a superb level of realism in this composition, the pyramids, mats and terrain formation are fabulous! Outstanding Bryce!
