Description
A storm dropped some snow but mostly rain at these lower elevations. This is Apache Trail in the Superstition Wilderness Area between Apache and Roosevelt Lakes east of Phoenix, Arizona. The clouds are breaking up and are moving out. This trail was built to facilitate the delivery of supplies when Roosevelt Dam was built and completed in 1911.
This picture was taken in February 1990 and later scanned.
