Description
Captured this haven for weary little avian travelers, situated on the front of a lawn, on 10/22/07, very early in the morning, about 1.7 miles/2.736 kilometers from my residence.
An ideal spot for CavalierLady's flock of birdies to stop, nest and/or roost.
Unfortunately, it doesn't offer the usual amenities found in many motels, such as maid service, free coffee, a swimming pool, etc.
Better viewed full size.
Have a wild, wacky and wooly weekend!

Splendid and lovely image..bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
And what a pretty and spacious hotel birdhouse this is! I'm sure my birds would love it! Today they need it to try to stay dry. Very nice shot, Harry. :)
What a beautiful birdhouse. Excellent capture!
Very upscale, I wonder where the pheasants stay. ;-) Cool capture.
Wow - somebody did a lot of work on this! That's a lovely bit of carpentry. I especially like the deck with the railing on the top floor. If I were a bird, that's what I would go for. Very fancy. You've captured this elegant domicile beautifully, my friend! An excellent shot, full of detail.
Well now- this would keep the birds of spring fighting for a spot overlooking the field. Well seen and captured.
this is cool looking I think Purple Martins would nest in this
thats wonderful..
lol...this is cool Harry. Very interesting capture. Like any motel, comes with single or double room.
An extraordinary structure!
Fantastic birdhouse.
It reminds me of the Purple Martin houses my Dad used to make.
