Description
On October 2nd, 2006, I uploaded the first Flying Chocolate. This was a cute sculpture made of real chocolate. Unfortunately, the same day that I photographed it (I added a Terragen background), it was eaten by the hungry people who were around it. So I decided to create a new one, thanks to Maxon’s great 3D modeling software! Then, from January 3rd to 11, 2007, I posted 4 picts showing the new adventures of Flying Chocolate. However, I promised to some of you that these adventures will continue! Yesterday, this was the birthday of my son Remail, I had been busy all the week with Photoshop teaching, and I looked for some "edible", easy to do, image to post him, and I fand here the solution!
Remail is an excellent photographer, so I invite you to enjoy his beautiful gallery, and add your best wishes for him and his sympathetic family:

Hmm, the problem is that Remail’s birthday was yesterday, and perhaps you could only visit him even later? Here is the solution: you ought never forget that, as Lewis Caroll pointed in "Alice in Wonderland", that in one year you have one day of anniversary, but also 364 or 365 days of non-anniversaries, that you can wish as well! Always be positive my friends!

Techdata: Flying Chocolate was modeled in Cinema 4D R9.0. Background photo taken in 2005 with a Canon A70 at 5.4mm (35mm equiv.), ISO 100, aperture-priority automatic, 1/400s at f/8. Composition in Photoshop CS3 Extended using the function "Text along a path" introduced in Photoshop CS.
In my next posts I will return to Senegal cars, with a very funny scene among other images, do not miss them!

Thanks for posting Remail's birthday notification and, believe it or not, I was thinking about that chocolate airplane just yesterday. Yum! Very cool image and I'll check out Remail's site. :-)
ROFl funny story..I do not know Remail but I do wish them a very Happy Birthday!--great job!!
Cinema 4D is a very well done program! I went from Raydreams to C4D back in the mid/late nineties. It is a very adept 3d package!! I like the originality of the flying chocolate caracter! A pilot every woman would want to .... Um... ...eat... Yeah, even better!!
The plane must fly in my mouth! Very nice!
So ~Beautiful & Tasty~ :-} EXCELLENT!! ^5^

Good idea with the colored letters and the plane! Excellent modelling too!! Very original scene and good work!!
