Description
This is a tree near where I live when I'm in Mexico. I have no idea what it is, looks kind of like a banyan, but it's not. It's huge, probably 40' high, has a palm tree and some kind of fern growing out of it as well. The trunk is all twisted and turned, makes it look like something from "The Hobbit". At night, well, it's just plain spooky!!

Excellent shot.
Heh! that is down right odd for sure! and sorry I cannot tell as well! lol but a great POV and pretty photo of it!
No telling what its hiding inside..:) very colorful..and great POV...
Lovely colours, too.
Hmmmmm....it does resemble a Banyan tree somewhat as there is a similar one in Key West, Florida. But can't be certain, for sure. Looks scary, tho. Great shot.
you`ve captured some great light there marilyn and the colours are fantastic :o)..excellent my friend mick
Fantastic colours here Marilyn, very vibrant. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
Excellent picture. Todd
Wow amazing shot, and oh so colourful and cheery, thanks for that my dear friend - hugs Jane xx
interesting shot, got me stumped as to what it is!
Spooky trees, something I specialize in, along with alien, evil, weird and high strangeness trees. Deep, vivid colors and high contrast in this interesting capture, Marilyn!
that some tree. wonderful pov of it
Magnificent Photography, Excellent!!Congratulations!!
Way cool! You know I love your high-contrast postwork, and the composition is awesome! I like the abstract-ness (?) of this!
I'm not well versed in spooky trees because I don't normally see them that way. I find odd things are endearing rather than being spooky... go figure.......LOL cool shot and great color saturation.
What a wonderful mix. They must be old friends who have joined together to make their corner of the world a little more interesting.
