Wow! This is so artistic and creative and all from a straight photo! I love it!
If you hadn't said it was a skylight, I'd probably still be trying to figure out what I was looking at! As soon as I read that, my brain made the shift, of course, and there it was. Awesome work! I'm with PJ. Fabulous!

The Dome of Doom or maybe even an old Dome of Silence!!! Very Cool, that is Fact!!!
Yes I agree very creative. I love it here on RR when people take shots like this - things we pass everyday and take a shot and is then perceived in a totally different way. I like that Purple haze above too!

Excellent picture. Todd
That's beautiful Marilyn!
When I first saw it, I thought it was an outside light switch, the push type that is covered with a soft watertight rubber. Fantastic job you have done on this Marilyn, an original idea, perfectly executed, the outcome a fantastic fantasy photograph. I love it. Bravo!!!!!
rare but interesting postwork.
Wow. This is a cool image! Well done!
fantastic shot ,like they say;you got the eye.
Oh my! If you hadn't told us what this was, originally, I would have bent my mind around until almost going nuts.. So thanks for sharing the info - I would never have guessed! Big chunk of creativity from you in this one. :)

Wow talk about hidden talents! this is amazing!!! very cool job with it! and yeah I would of never known, unless you explained lol!! have a great night!
Oh darn, by the title, I thought you had snapped a photo providing uncontestable proof of the existence of our ET neighbors from afar. Actually, I don't see much resemblance to extraterrestrial creatures or their craft in this creation, but this is a great exercise in abstract postwork, Marilyn. Love the colors and textures. As for your new avatar, welcome home Carmen Miranda! Chicky chicky boom!
great postwork! clever and creative!
Lovely image..beautiful colors and lighting
Time travelers. Interesting shot. Aloha

When I first viewed this, I was going to ask you what 3D program you used with the photograph and then I read you description of it. Oops, Glad I can still read. LOL Really creative composition. Almost caught me off-guard.
WOW...this is one of those gems I missed! This is a fantastic image, very creative and entertaining! I love the sense of color here, as well as the whole concept of the picture. Wow! I'm deeply impressed!
