Description
Another marine illustration done mostly with Bryce... and some art thrown in, hopefully!
Bryce is a good artists tool - especially when used with photoshop. I've been using it for a couple of years and have produced a few hundred illustrations.

Gorgeous nautical render once again. Kind of evokes the volcanic eruption and explosion of Krakatoa and this was the ship taking passengers, which was popular at the time, to the volcanic island for sightseeing. Little did they know what was coming! Gets a 5+ from me.
Excellent image!! Love the choppy sea & haze. A fave of mine!!
Superb picture. Great sky. Well done.
Really cool image. I can't resist images with ships and sea.
Great image!
Beautiful render! I have always been facinated with the old sailing ships from days gone by.
Not an expert???? This is an incredible fantastic image! Excellent!
Stunning work! I'm more in to Poser(girls) but i like your scene and the PW very much! (perhaps a few posergirls on board? LOL) ***** Arno
Looks like it is raining ash and rock.
Thank you very much for all your comments. Very much appreciated!

Gorgeous!!!!
Excellent work!
Excellent piece good comment some people only look for faults in others work you are a talented artist well done.
Guilty as charged! I mentioned the Bryce blue haze. I often see it as a mistake because it's something unique to Bryce in my experiance. However, I bow to your artistic intent. It is after all, your work. This piece though, is brilliant! I can't fault it. Very well done!
Excellent image!! very well done!
Truly a wonderful piece of art work, love the colors used here, superbly done**************:)
Excellent Artwork!!
Gorgeous work!!!!!!!!!!
WOW perfect Water and Mood!!!
Beautiful!! Love the stormy feel!
Fantastic picture, it's like one of those 'turn of the centry' pictures.
It does have the "old" look, and that just gives it more realism. And, no they sure didn't know the way this trip would end!! Great one!!
Very impressive Bryce render. Looks just a period painting. Excellent work!!
Very impressing work!
WOW Gorgeous Work!! It really has that storm feeling, which IMHO really adds to the mood of this piece!!
Hmm… If you are not an expert in Bryce who should be! It is true that the sea has some strange aspects, but I cannot be sure that it cannot happen in the real world with some kind of very dense rain. Anyway you succeed not only to create great scenes but also a very impressive mood and that makes wonderful narrative illustrations.
outstanding work!
Stunning work! 5!
Love the muted colors in this. You are so talented at evoking the many moods of the sea. Even the people's poses are perfect.
