Description
Yes, this is the same Noble Fir that was so recently atop my car in the rain! Its scent is wonderful and as the lights are on a timer, this sight greets me on my return from work in the dark. It is a very pleasant greeting indeed, though on Christmas day, I'll only be home minutes, before I, too, am transformed, and on my way to dine and carouse with dear friends!
I don't know WHAT I did to make this picture so grainy, so please feel free to advise! Thanks!

Wow! great festive tree, would make a great Christmas Card. A merry Christmas to you and your family.
So pretty, a lovely tree!
I get this noise in my shots when the lens strains to hold a focus in dim light or a stressful lighting situation. I sort of think the noise in this shot works out very nicely for mood. Such a lovely tree. I like the comfy feeling in this.
artaddict2 and i are of the same mind on this one... lovely shot indeed chris - it reflects your warmth most of all!
The grain works just fine in this. It gives the tree a lovely look.
I think this is an excellent capture... I didn't have the strength or stamina to decorate this year... Seeing all these beautiful renders like this makes me wish I had a tree... This would be so very beautiful to come home to...and on a timer as well You go girl..this is a fav with me..I finally got my orchid pic up hope you come take a peek:) Merry Christmas Hugs Susan~
I think this is a wonderful composition! However, you might try different settings for ISO speed to see what you get. Merry Christmas.
Excellent picture. Todd
Very Nice!!!
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, lah-de-dah-dah, Christmas tree...... A myriad of ornaments too numerous to count. I read where it takes from 7 to 10 years for a Christmas fir to mature.
What a gorgeous tree! So very lovely. Karen :)
What a lovely Christmas Tree: so tall and colorful! I like how it looks with all of the decorations! Merry Christmas!
You have transformed the tree into a beautiful work of art. A lovely greeting when you come home.
