Description

Q-bricked for jdehaven I have had a "retro moment" e.g. 2001 a SPACE ODESSEY to be precise ! 1) I re-textured the ARIES model I have had lying around for ages, which is coming in for a landing... 2) I also had the 2001 MOONBUS, which again I had to re-texture ! 3) then the good old 'jif3d' warped humour slipped in and replaced the 3 scientists/astronauts with some Sasquatched Go-rillas, who can't believe NASA screwed up their lunch order ! Happy Holidays and Cheers Jeff :o) p.s. BTW, Mike (Odessey) might get a kick out of this one as well, as any other '2001' fans ? p.p.s. ZOOM IN OR ELSE (well maybe not !)

Wow Jeff- these three renderings look incredible! The moon surface texture is perfect, and the quality and texturing of the models really stands out too! I like the perspective in all of them, and the fact that you see the ship in the corner in the top frame, then zooming by in the second. Also the Earth in the background is a nice touch! The replacement with the apes is hilarious, particularly the banannas on a tray! Thanks for the dedi man! Love this series of images!

Agreed the surface texture and the lighting of the landing pad looks HOT ! And as far as the Gorillas go... well lets just say it's feeding time at the zoo, some of my co-workers have less table manners than these guys !
