Happy holidays everyone!
Here is a photo taken last year, during the first snow fall.
As some of you may know.... We have a (Rescued) Samoyed named Kiska, who we mistakenly thought was lonely...
So we got her a companion, another Samoyed rescue, named Yukon. She hates him! So much for good intentions...
But this was a rare moment of peace, even so, you can see a lot of information being exchanged in this single moment.
My hope for everyone is to have a peaceful and wonderful holiday!

It is simple .....Yukon has bad breath and Kiska, gives him the cold shoulder, hoping he'll get the hint..this is the one day you left candy canes out unguarded...so for an instant..it was ...."hmm what's this?? ...mint?" gorgeous photo happy holidays to you too.

I hope you've taken the opportunity to get them accustomed to each other. There are so many wonderful trainers out there - and there are so many things that can be done to get them to 'get along.' We've only ever had rescued dogs and have run into a myriad of problems over the years - all that can be overcome. Just ask your vet for advice and suggestions.

LOL ... I made the mistake of getting my Australian shepherd (Matty Roo)a companion once. That's when I found out that she prefers the company of people and dislikes other dogs. Her former companion now is in a loving home and all is well. Excellent photo ... those are two really beautiful dogs. And Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and yours. :-)
