Description

This is a shot from our last trip to the lakes. After a reasonably uneventful trip, just for a change, we took a different route after leaving our final rest stop on the M6. This time, we took the minor roads into Keswick via Shap and Brougham where we found a ruined hall and castle. Took a few photos at the hall but it was closed until the following week. Couldn't resist this ornate door-knocker. Though I think it might look a little out of place on my front door. :-D -------------------------------- Original Photograph: 21-Mar-2005
