RobyHermida I know you going on vacation and I wish you well Plus I wish you a merry Christmas. I saw these boats and thought of you. You a friend here on RR. This is about a hour drive from my house.

this was taken in 10-30-07. It was a hot day too[around 90 degrees]. It hot now lol 72 degrees

This is such a wonderful spot, and 72 degrees sounds just right!!
Where my daughter and I go fishing in the summer, we walk out on a point and cast out across the mouth of where the slough empties into the river and on the other bank is an ice house with a long dock. Small houseboats where the owners live during the warm months are tied to the dock. There are dock lights on and so we always try to cast out between the houseboats where the light shines on the water by the docks. Sometimes we miss when the wind gusts during a cast and end up tagging a boat. We've made lots of friends that way. Really. The owners seem to think its funny and we get invited over after we reel in for the night for drinks, snacks and good company. This reminds me a lot of that spot even knowing its not a river and the boats aren't tourist's houseboats.
