Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
I am back to bugs and such after posting a few experimental abstractions.
I have posted images of this species of spider before but the species is so pretty that when I recently came across this one, I could not resist getting some more shots. They turned out pretty well so here is the first of three new ones.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

outstanding macro and the color knocks your socks off. great stuff
Terrific Macro, I've never seen spiders over here in UK with any bright colour. Thanks for sharing these creatures with us.
This is so fabulous! the colors, the pov and the subject is outrageous! Love it, Lee!
Out of all the photos youve taken of this spider....I like this one the best.Great work!!!
Whoa, what a beauty!
eeek poison ???? Looks freaky scary to me ! good photo
what an awesome and colorful looking spider !~excellent find and capture!!!! Fabulous Lee!!
A very interesting shot Lee, like Alan(artaddict2) says we don't have anything like this in the UK, well if we do I have never seen one. This one does not look as metalic as the last one, I wonder if it has anything to do with the onset of winter? The colours are still vibrant but seem to have lost their gloss. Excellent capture, I like it that you get so many different angles on these little critters. Bravo!!!!!
Oh how I wish we had these in the UK! Wonderful photo of a super beast!
I'm so glad you did stop and take it..love the colors on this fellow..they still make the hair on the back of my neck stand up though..no matter how small they might be..they have 8 legs and that is enough to make me shiver.. Fantastic Image...Lol..Kym
