Description
Hello all.
My first Apollo render in quite a while. It's far from perfect, but it's great to be back using such a fantastic figure.
I used BagginsBill's fantastic shader, with a whole bunch of dial spinning. I love this thing!
The light set is a home-made custom thing I've got kicking around my runtime.
My motivation, as usual, was I had become bored with my current wallpaper. This time however I remembered to leave room for icones!

It's amazing how far the "This wallpaper's getting old" motivation can go! EXCELLENT render! Very realistic. Love the lighting. Amazing work.
How strong this portrait is, i really love this presentation congrats!
Excellent!
great image........well done
Awesome skin tone very natural the way that 5 o'clock shadow looks and the lighting perfect!!
love the whiskers... I want to create some characters next year from a comic strip I use to publish 15 years ago... I have a challenge ahead of me, because my characters look like Mickey Mouse, only human and have hairy arms, legs and the whiskers...What did you use for the whiskers?
To be honest mikeerson, I didn't do a great deal. The whiskers are part of the MAT, and BB's shader tends to bring them out quite well (depending on your settings). The rest is Photoshop post-work to really make them pop. In short, I don't have any secrets to share I'm afraid.
He's lovely - I'd of have say he would make a great bouncer grin ... but I'm unsure of his eyes - the highlights may be a tad strong. But yes ... the bouncer-feel to this. Lovely :) Tina
Thanks Tina. I'm a HUGE fan of your work. The highlights, as well as the whites of the eyes, are deliberatley bright. I adjusted them seperatley as I didn't want this to be especially realistic; more stylised than anything.
