Description
This clump of pampas grass is growing in one of my neighbor's yards. (Don't I have great neighbors? I love all their cool stuff.)
I was standing on the sidewalk, and took this hand-held with a bit of zoom. Anybody could have seen me, and I wasn't crawling around in their rose bushes to get the shot (although I HAVE crawled around in their rose garden in the past!)
Sneak Factor: MEDIUM-LOW
(I'm rating it "Medium" Low because they didn't know I was using the zoom.) LOL!

Beautiful capture of the Pampas grass!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic Shot of this! and odd that you mentioned Rose bushes, I am currently peeking out my window off and on watching my baby rose plant out front right now, because two Mexican kids are tossing a football back and fourth! so weird lol and my dad used to call these weeds "Cat Tails" lol ~ take care
I too love that grass....Do any of your neighbors see the pictures on Renderosity?
Really like the bright sunny feel of light on the feathery tops. I'v always liked this plant.

Very nice, Tara, and you caught it in full bloom, too. I really like pampas grass, as long as it's in someone else's yard LOL.
Love pampas grass, and beautiful medium/low sneaky shot :o)
These grasses are beautiful and as you know, poetic in the breeze. I have a mammoth one in a corner of my yard and it is so beautiful in the summer when it blooms.
LOL. I thought of you the other day when I wanted to climb over a locked gate to take a photo of a door... alas, I didn't do it but tried shooting over and through. I love the pampas grass, great shot!
one day I was taking pictures of a quaint old house and this woman came out asking why I was taking a picture of her house.I told the planning commission was going to demolish it .she was not too happy
LOL ! Wonderful grasses indeed. They were worth sneaking for. :) You often make me smile a glad smile. :)))
I love Pampas it looks so soft and swishy and hurray for great neighbours, otherwise we wouldn't have the pleasure of some of your fabulous images - hugs Jane xx

Wonderful capture!!!!
Nice picture and good light on this pampas ! Good day :)
Oooh oooh oooh, pampas grass! My favorite grass of all time! Excellent POV, clarity, colors, composition and contrast in this superb sneak capture, my dear! Aren't these the type fronds that slaves use to wave and cool off middle eastern royalty as they sit on their thrones?
I agree with all the other comments and can't think of a clever thing to say so I'll just add my thoughts to the others ...beautiful photo!
