Description
The season passed several months ago and generally I cut back the leaves. This year, a few were left. Through frost, cold and seasons change, the leaves lay to the ground. I was surprised at the gift of a wonderful yellow color. Soon these will return to the earth.

This is a fantastic and intriguing image...it opens itself to great interpretations and the yellow stands out in a way that grabs your attention without overpowering the other elements of the work...the other elements are gorgeously subtle and reward close, patient inspection/observation, and even a bit of introspection. Great work.
