Description
My entry for the November 2007 "One day in winter" Themed Challenge that made #1.
I don't think the voting did justice to the other entries, just have a look at the #2 by WeeLaddie or the #3 by Rich2
Congrats WeeLaddie and Rich2!

Fantastic realism and mood! I love snow and mountains... (try to make smoother terrain profile in the foreground).
Its like a real word!! Perfect!!!
Very well done!
You guys are all very good. Do you think you'll try your hand at TG2 or have you already? This is .9x, right? Good work.
That is a really great snow. Bravo.
Let me see how many superlatives I can adorn this with. I do like this Andy and even though the other 2 are Magnificent I can see why this came in #1. Supoerb Creation!!!!!
This is the kind of scene where the lighting makes the snow look truly real. Good work.

You are in the running for Artist of the Month, I've never heard of you OR THE OTHERS, so I thought I'd check all the artists out. You're name is at the top of the list of artist, so that there will get you some votes - I however, have looked over the other entrees - they're really good... but, If I had to pick an artist to do landscape for me, I'd pick you..... and I'm going to leave here now and vote for you.... Since people will probably just look at the first page of thumbnails, you should win it - BUT... if I were you, I'd look at that first page and see what you're missing - a mountain on fire perhaps? I'm saying that because I live in Colorado and right now we are having our worst wildfire season in the states history..... another thing, you might want to twist the camera angle to give it a batman feel - looking at all the thumbs, it seems most pictures are straight on shots, some wild pov would help get you votes too. good luck, and if I ever get nominated for artist of the month, remember I voted for you - lol
