Description
Story quoted from a report by BBC's Frank Gardner (news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/864994.stm :
Out in the countryside, 90% of women are illiterate.
"The classic situation is a girl who leaves her family home at the age of six or seven because her family needs the money."
"She comes to work in a big city as a housemaid. She reaches the age of maybe 15 or 16 and the first bloke that she meets who promises to take her away from this awful situation that she's in, she believes him because she wants to."
"She's had no affection from her family for a number of years."
"She will sleep with him. She'll become pregnant. He will abandon her. She'll lose her job and she'll be rejected by her family and she can be followed by the law for prostitution."

Ghastly stories! We are so lucky here in the UK. Good pic.
otra bella captura bravo
Something to hear about, great photo.
Its a great photo.
Very touching
You've managed to capture the many faces of Morocco oh so well! :o)
So many cultures and such a difference... things we find acceptible today will be the nightmares of tomorrow. Acts we denounce in one country are fully accepted in another. Hence, the saying, "It takes all kinds to make a world." This is a fabulous capture and very thought provoking words.
superb capture my friend
Bizzzzzzzzzzzz
@>--->--- Hello my dear friend,That marvelous photography!, really excellent! A million stars of my part******************************* Have a marvelous Wednesday.Hug and kiss in heart. Luminous blessings. Ludy@>--->---
Nice picture, sad story. Todd
Superbe photo. Bon WE
It's a terrible situation, not much of a life is it?? We are so lucky!!! An evocative image indeed!!!
Fascinating and disturbing, and you have given me an amazing insight into Morroco and life there, with your excellent images! hugs Jane xx
Great picture but all to sad for the women there.
great atmosphere via light and color. stunning!
Great idea and execution!
superb shot and story...thank goodness I was born where I am, this way of life is so sad
