The 8th Annual Goodguys Southwest Nationals
Stated as having 2,700 classics, and Hot Rod vehicles made before & including 1974.
I took over 200 pictures, and ran out of memory cards & batterys at the same time.
The most popular vehicle there was the 1956 Chevy, followed by the 1957 model. I figure at least half of the baby boomers got there kicks, not on Rt 66, but in the back seat of these! LOL! I probably saw 50% of all the vehicles on display, before running out of gas! ;)
Captured with a Canon Power Shot A40 - freehand.

Dennis, these are wonderful pictures! I also liked your funny note :)... I have never owned none of these cars... but when my son was a little kid, I used to buy him those little toy models... and he liked to play with them very much... It was such a joy to see him so involved in playing with them... Thanks for sharing with us these beautiful pictures...

Great shot! Thanks for sharing!
very nice shot. very clear. fantastic.
Wonderful! It makes me feel as though I just went through Harrah's car collection, which by the way, I have done a few times. The last time was disappointing since the collection has mostly been sold off, and only a few remain on display. Plus, my father restored old cars and showed them, won prizes and made lots and lots of friends. :o)
Wow Dennis, Awesome cars.
Very cool scene ! Love the border around the main image. Creatively done. I love that car. It reminds me a bit of the " woody " that my mother drove when I was a young child. How wonderfully nostalgic for me. Thanks for sharing this Dennis.
Fantastic!!
Fantastic collage with gobs of cool cars! Thanks for the peek! (:
Oh, I would have so loved to have been there Dennis. I love old cars and remember a De Soto we had in Singapore in 1957! lol I was only four then, but I still remember it! Excellent work Sir! Steve :o)
I looooooooooove all these cars!!!!!
Excellent capture!!
Isn't this just the most beautiful thing? They sure used to know how to make some pretty cars! You got some awesome shots. I love how used them to frame this fabulous old station wagon.
Awesome collage Dennis, shame you ran out of memory, I always carry three spare CF cards of 1gb each the one in the camera is a 2gb, the main xd card is 2gb and I carry a 1gb spare, alsa carry four spare sets of batteries and a charger that plugs into the cigar lighter. I do admit however to going somewhere and leaving the camera bag in the boot of the car and forgeting to put the spare batteries in my pocket, yes I ran out of power and had to go all the way back to the car. That will not happen again. This collage is absolutely stupendous, the main subject awesome to the extreme, the border outstanding. It's one of those images that blows your mind. I have run out of superlatives. Bravo sir, I take my hat of to you. Bravo!!!!! 5 is not enough 500 is near the mark.
Oh Dennis I really like this...Beautiful frame work!!! A fav!
