It has been said, that in this life we alternate between moments, moments of transition, and moments of revelation. For this image I wanted to get across the feel of "transition".
For those who are wondering, the setting was made with two free DM sets (with a little tweaking by me). The feel I was going for was something I like to call "sci-fi opulence". That is, I wanted something that looked otherworldly, but not something that's just come off a tecnho-assembly line either. I didn't quite get what I wanted but all in all it came out alright.

Your Pink Twi'lek is marvelous! I think that you acheived what you were going for quite well. The background does have a rather otherworldly opulent feel to it, the sublte texturing around the edges of the area she sits in, along the risers for the steps, the medalion on the wall, not things one would normally find on our average space ship, or space station. Excellent!

Very nice. Pink has always been a favorite of mine for Twi'leks in both Galaxies and in renders. Very bubblicious image.

While the skin color may appeal more to the women, generally, it fits well into the environment you chose. Very nicely posed and captioned image.
